Multistat Inc. is focused on increasing the adoption of optimization by leveraging our faster, more powerful optimization technology combined with an easier-to-use visual optimization desktop.
Multistat Inc. was started in 1999 by Dr. Vladimir Sevastyanov to develop visualization tools to aid in the understanding of complex problems such as optimization. The company worked with existing optimization software providers to display and gain insights into the problems being optimized.
Work started in 2004 on new optimization algorithms based on the revolutionary approach of Concurrent Gradient Analysis. The combination of the high performance, high capacity algorithms with the existing visualization capability was first released as part of Multistat Visual Optimizer 3.0 in early 2005. Ralph Mayer and John Harbison joined the Board of Directors in late 2005, Visual Optimizer version 4.0 was released in 2006 and the company attracted outside funding in 2007.
Multistat provides both a complete optimization framework with Multistat Visual Optimizer 4.0 and imbeds its high performance patent pending algorithms into Process Integration frameworks and analysis tools from other software providers.
