Multistat Inc. today announced that Ralph Mayer has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer and that Paul Hewitt has joined the company as Vice President of Sales. Multistat’s founder Vladimir Sevastyanov assumes the position of Chief Technology Officer.
Ralph Mayer brings deep experience and expertise to his role as CEO of the company. He is a 25 year veteran of the Computer Aided Design (CAD) industry as well as being an experienced investor in technology ventures. Mr. Mayer has held development and management positions with CAD pioneers Applicon and Computervision, was a founder of Adra Systems Inc and its successor company MatrixOne, and held executive management positions with Division and its acquiring company PTC. Before joining Multistat, he has served as President of the San Diego Network of Tech Coast Angels -- the largest angel network in the country with over 250 members and investments in over 130 companies. He has been involved with angel investing since 2000, serving on boards, advising and mentoring startups.
Paul Hewitt will be responsible for global sales, marketing and strategic partnering for Multistat. Mr. Hewitt has extensive experience in the high-performance computing (HPC) industry, holding sales and management positions at Sun Microsystems, Hewlett Packard, Convex Computers, Alliant, Floating Point Systems, and most recently Engineous Software. He has a proven track record of revenue growth and major account expansion. As Sales Director at Engineous Software, the industry leader in Process Integration & Design Optimization, he was responsible for revenue and major account expansion in the western region.
